He’ Back! =)
I love my DADDY a.k.a Father in Heaven loads =)
This is the third time Joshua is trying to get his blog
message posted as the previous 2 which he typed halfway just went berserk due
to his butterfingers and click..click there goes his half way written post..
sigh. Argh.
Joshua just broke down and cried before his Daddy one fine
evening not too long ago. (Guys are human with emotions too.. but very often
give in to EGO) He was very stressed with all the circumstances that were
surrounding his life at that point of life. He forgot that he serves an
almighty God who looks beyond the circumstances that he was facing in his life.
He was stressed with his studies. Uni ain’t easy.. heaps of
assignments tones of lecture slides to catch up on. Yes.. 2 weeks mid-sem break
just started but he has 3 assignments to do. Had to forgo his proposed trip to
Sydney
. To make matters worse, he was rather
uncertain about his accommodation in melb for 2006. Haven’t got any place that
is confirmed or any particular housemate and time is running out for him to
sort this out. At the same time he’s quite worried about planetuni – uni
ministry of planetshakers city church because of his lack of ‘kingdom
mentality’.. and to perfect his misery, his recent conflict which one of his friend
whom he treasures. Joshua was down for a
almost a week. In the end .. he couldn’t
take it anymore. Then, his ‘adopted’ sister reminded him of what he used to
tell her once when she was depressed. And Joshua once told her to …
Just praise and worship God. After that , go out and have
fun.
By worshipping God, Joshua realised that he is able to
uphold and lift all his troubles before God as then his concentration and focus
isn’t with the situation but rather on God. And how true is that. If Joshua is
upset, his Daddy in heaven would probably be 10 times as sad as Joshua. Yeas.. Joshua wept, he cried, he then decided
that he shall just worship God and commit EVERYTHING to him, knowing and
acknowledging that his life belongs to HIM and in HIM, he will survive through
this rough passage in life and He has everything in control.
Then, this song just came into his mind. A song sung by
youthalive –nsw entitled:-

And yes.. this song cheered him up heaps. Joshua suddenly
just felt that all these burdens being lifted up. He could almost hear it from
inside that his Daddy is telling him that,
“Hey Joshua…it’s alright .. know
that I’m with you and things will just turn out fine. I have it all under
control .. just trust me.. would you? “
And of course, Joshua could only utter “Yes Daddy. I know
you love me and that I shouldn’t worry as you will handle all my problems even
as I commit them to you.”
Words couldn’t explain how he felt after that. He hasn’t
experienced that joy in him for many days already. He’s now the bring happy,
cheerful, joyful Joshua once again. All thanks to the comfort and assurance of
is loving heavenly Father.
As a uni student who is sane and perfectly normal, he is
able to distinguish what’s just Feeling and the real presence of the Heavenly
Father who comforted him in his time of need. Joshua lifted his burdens before God and God set him free. Would you
follow Joshua’s footstep and say God… have mercy and intervene in my ‘shitty’
situation?
All of a sudden. Joshua is experiencing breakthroughs upon
breakthroughs.. no kiddin mate! But.. he’ll talk about his breakthroughs in the
second part of what he’s going to share. It’ll blow your mind away when u know
that the almighty God is taking care of you problems. The breakthroughs are
still coming and yes.. remember the last post? Things are gonna get better? How
true is that when u DOG.. (Depend On God).
People who depend of God are not pathetic or wimps or
losers. They’re just people who realize that there’s a bigger God who is there
for them and cares for them and just waiting to pour out his love freely to
those who seek him earnestly =). It is people who refuse to allow God to play a
part in their lives who are living a life of ignorance.
With the recent Katrina storm and all the major disasters
that take place. I hope that people will stop living like there’s not God.
There’s more to life than life itself.
We have a purpose and destiny to fulfill in life and we are
all called to greatness by Him for formed us. The door is closed but He’s
knocking. Will you open the door of your heart and allow him to SHAKE your life
upside down?
Just spoken to my mum the other day and a family friend whom
I enjoy talking to. In fact when I was back at
Malaysia
in July, I spoke to him at
a function and he seemed perfectly normal. We chatted , we laughed .. being a
former student in
Melbourne
,
he was sharing to me his experiences there and how he enjoyed skiing. And then
BAM.. !! He was diagnosed with a terminal cancer which doctor said he wouldn’t
last until Christmas. I was shocked as he has a 7 year old son. In fact, he was
one of the few adults that I enjoyed talking to. YES. He passed away a few days ago.
Therefore, please people, you never know when you’re gonna
leave this earth. We only live once and life itself is a miracle from God to
you. Treasure it and guard it. Live life to the fullest and I can’t think of
how one is able to do so without having God on his/her side. Anyway.. yup..
Joshua’s back,! Alive and kicking.
Holidays.. looking forward to many fun things..
Don’t remember blogging about felicia’s b’day.. yea we had
fun surprising her twice. Even went for mamak in
Melbourne
for her b’day.
Gonna camp at library.. for assignments. I’m in love with
Law library. Will try to get snapshots. Hahaha..
Er.. Cooking Bak-Kut-Teh for my friends from Hong Kong and
Macau
who’s addicted to it due to my influence.
Having barbecue .. and going for Dim Sum next week. Then
there’s st.kilda’s beach. Smith street, Chapel Street, bridge road, box hill,
Victoria gardens, albert park, NGV, royal Melbourne show and many more la.. oh
of course Church la.. what else.
There’s Curry night tomorrow organised by my Urban Life and
I’m in charge of logistics – name only canggih la but actually it’s kutip
sampah lah.. ahah nvm la the humble just be exalted. Ehem.. I love to kutip
sampah when it’s for HIM.
